Iris Wirz is originally from Germany, where she studied German literature, history of arts and book illustration. At the age of 20, she met her future Swiss husband in Italy and together they started the agency Wirz Marketing in Switzerland. Parallelly Iris worked as journalist and exposed her paintings in Switzerland and Germany. After her husband’s untimely death, Iris Wirz worked as PR consultant at Wirz & Partner (not related) in Zürich and as international PR manager at Ascom, the largest Swiss telecommunications company. But it wasn’t until she founded her own communications and PR company Iris Wirz c&p communications that she developed her model of ‘integrated communication’.

Since 1992, she has advised well over 300 companies and organizations. Both in Switzerland and abroad. This includes public institutions and authorities as well as interest groups and NGOs. In her consultancy, Iris Wirz draws on her extensive experience in creating good and clear communication combined with a deep knowledge of how to change public awareness and understanding of a given social agenda.
