Hanno Burmester works and teaches at the intersection of societal and organizational change. His focus is strategy work and organizational development across sectors and hierarchies. After 20 years in Berlin and three years in Barcelona, he now lives in Munich with his husband Roman. In recent years – when he is not working with his clients – he has written several non-fiction books, most recently the book Unlearn. A Compass for Radical Transformation. Internationally, Hanno Burmester has worked closely with some of the key players when it comes to democratic and political innovation. Before starting his own consultancy, he worked as an investigative journalist and political advisor at the federal level.
